I understand the importance of public safety, economic development, and strengthening our community through action. That's why I'm running for this position. Together, we can continue to move the needle. We can work together as Democrats, Republicans, and everyone in between to make our continuously growing City as phenomenal as it can be with tactics that are on-time, on-budget, inclusive, and always with compassion.
I've been part of the Greenwood community for most of my adult life, always engaging in ways to make it an awesome place to live, work, learn, and play. With nearly two decades experience in nonprofit management (having raised and managed millions in funding for our state), earning a graduate degree in public health and studying business management, and being a mom of three boys who thrive in our city's school system, I am your ideal candidate for at-large progress.
Did you know that it's been YEARS since we've had a democrat run successfully for Greenwood Council At Large? Right now, we currently don't have anyone in the 9 seats that fill the council who is a woman of color, a minority-business owner, or someone who values inclusion and diversity (and def no democrats). It's time to CHANGE THAT! We can't win this race without your help. Flyering, word-of-mouth, and donating are all ways of helping us achieve our goals together. Going my Facebook page for updates on how you can help our cause for Common Sense Progress!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals for the fundraising campaign.
